How can I keep from singing? (Comment pourrais-je m'empêcher de chanter ?) est un hymne chrétien avec une histoire plutôt unusuelle et complexe. Il a été composé en 1860 par le ministre américain Robert LOWRY. L'un des aspects intéressant de cet hymne est qu'il n'a jamais été imprimée avec une indication de tempo. Sa forme est très libre, même s'il ressemble aux hympnes modernes. Au milieu de la pièce, il y a un passage pour voix solo. Toutefois, il y a une possibilité pour trompette solo si le chant n'est pas possible, où si le texte religieux serait inapproprié. |
