Juri Briat (Hombeek, 1969) a étudié à l’Institut Lemmens de Louvain (Belgique) où il a obtenu son diplôme de lauréat avec un Premier Prix en Trompette, Solfège, Transposition, Musique de chambre, ainsi qu’un diplôme en pédagogie.Par la suite, il a suivi des cours en direction d’harmonies, fanfares et orchestres de cuivre au Brabants Conservatorium de Tilburg (Pays-Bas) auprès de Jan Cober, Jan Van Ossenbruggen et Kees Schoonenbeek.A côté de ses activités de pédagogue, Juri est un chef d’orchestre très sollicité. Il est actuellement chef d’orchestre de l’Harmonie royale St. Laurentius de Oostmalle, de la Fanfare royale ‘De Verenigde Vrienden’ - l’Orchestre-Fanfare flamand et de l’ensemble de cuivres «Festival Brassband».En outre, il est régulièrement membre du jury lors de nombreux festivals et concours.Il est co-fondateur et éditeur général de BERIATO Music.Juri Briat (Hombeek, 1969) studied at the Lemmens Institute in Leuven where he graduated with first prizes in trumpet, musical notation, transposition, chamber music and a teaching degree.After these studies, he studied brass band management at the Brabant Conservatory in Tilburg (Netherlands) under Jan Cober, Jan Van Ossenbruggen and Kees Schoonenbeek. Aside from his teaching activities, Juri is a very popular conductor. He is also a regular jury member at many festivals and competitions. He is co-founder and general editor of BERIATO Music.Juri Briat (1969 in Hombeek geboren) studierte am Lemmens Istitut in Leuven und absolvierte sein Studium mit ersten Preisen ausgezeichnet in den Fächern Trompete, Musikschrift, Transponierung, und Kammermusik und erhielt ein Diplom zur Lehrtätigkeit.Anschließend nahm er das Studium des Brassband-Managements am Brabant Konservatorium in Tilburg (Holland) bei Jan Cober, Jan Van Ossenbruggen und Kees Schoonenbeek auf.Neben seiner Lehrtätigkeit ist Juri ein bekannter Dirigent.Auch sitzt er regelmäßig in der Jury bei vielen Festivals und Wettbewerben. Er ist Mitbegründer und Herausgeber von BERIATO Music
