Le maître Franz Cibulka (né en 1946) était professeur de clarinette et de théorie musicale au conservatoire Johann Fux à Graz et est actif depuis le juillet 2002 comme compositeur indépendant. A l'école supérieure de musique et d'art à Graz, il terminait ses études dans les disciplines de la clarinette, de la composition et de direction d'orchestre. Sa liste d'ouvrage contient plus de 300 compositions dans divers styles. Il s'est adapté aux différentes demandes des interprètes. Grâce à des représentations de ses ouvrages, dans le cadre du WASBE en 1997 à Schladming, sa réussite est devenue internationale et il a été invité au cours des dernières années en Australie, Amérique, Russie et dans beaucoup d'Etats européens comme compositeur, chef d'orchestre, interprète et responsable.Magister Franz Cibulka (geboren 1946) war Professor für Klarinette und Musiktheorie am Johann Fux Konservatorium in Graz und ist seit Juli 2002 als freischaffender Komponist tätig. An der Hochschule für Musik und Darstellende Kunst in Graz absolvierte er die Studienfächer Klarinette, Komposition und Orchesterleitung. Sein Werkeverzeichnis umfasst mehr als 300 Kompositionen in unterschiedlichster Besetzung und Stilistik, da die Werke immer auf Wunsch und Anregungen von diversen Interpreten unter Berücksichtigung ihrer musikalischen Vorstellungen entstanden sind. Durch Aufführungen seiner Werke im Rahmen der WASBE 1997 in Schladming gelang ihm der internationale Durchbruch und war in den vergangenen Jahren in Australien, Amerika, Russland und in vielen europäischen Staaten als Komponist, Dirigent, Interpret und Referent eingeladen.Popelkaring 24, 8045 GRAZ (A). He served as Professor of Clarinet, Chamber Music and Music Theory at the Johann Joseph Fux Conservatory in Graz until July 2002 when he began working exclusively as a free-lance composer. His list of works includes more than 300 compositions of the most diverse instrumentation and styles resulting from his artistic collaboration with various performers. Mr. Cibulka achieved an international reputation following the performance in 1997 of several of his works at the World Association for Symphonic Bands and Ensembles (WASBE) held in Schladming, Austria.
